Attentive Soul Spiritual Direction

I meet with directees in person on the South Shore of Boston, Massachusetts or via online video conference. While meeting face-to-face is the more traditional way to meet for direction, online direction is surprisingly personal and effective.

A typical rhythm for spiritual direction is to meet once a month for an hour session. There may be seasons when it is appropriate to meet more frequently or less. I usually see directees during daytime hours of Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, but can occasionally make exceptions to this general schedule.

My suggested fee is $75 per one-hour session, but I offer a sliding scale for those for whom this fee would be financially challenging. I do not want financial difficulty to prevent anyone from receiving direction; please contact me to talk about adjusted fees.

Payment should be paid before or at the time of service and can be made through Venmo or by check.

Once we have scheduled a session, I will hold that appointment time exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please try to do so 48 hours in advance. If I need to adjust our meeting time, I will do the same for you.

Then, contact me to schedule a time to talk with me about what you are hoping for in spiritual direction, what my direction style looks like, and whether we might be a good fit together. If we do not feel like a good match, I might be able to suggest another spiritual director for your consideration.

I am a member of the Evangelical Spiritual Directors Association (ESDA) and ascribe to their doctrinal statement and to their code of ethics in my spiritual direction practice. This set of ethical guidelines is rooted in biblical principles and Christian beliefs and is intended for use specifically by Christian spiritual directors. I regularly refer to this code of ethics to ensure that I am acting appropriately in my ministry, preparing for ethical situations that may arise, and considering the condition of my heart as I seek to companion others through the ministry of spiritual direction.
